Newport Family Centre is a registered not-for-profit charity, providing safe and supportive family time visits.
We are proud to be accredited by the National Association of Child Contact Centres (NACCC). This accreditation ensures that we meet strict national standards for providing safe, neutral, and supportive environments for families in need of supervised and supported contact sessions.
What we do, and do well.
Supervised Family Time
Supervised Family Time is a structured service designed to help children maintain relationships with parents or family members in a safe, neutral environment. Each session is fully monitored by a trained professional who ensures that interactions are positive, child-focused, and safe.
Supported Family Time
Supported Family Time is designed for families who do not require full supervision but still benefit from a structured, neutral environment. This service offers a safe, relaxed setting for parents and children to spend time together without direct monitoring or intervention.
Handovers
For separated parents, child exchanges can sometimes be stressful or lead to unwanted conflict. Our Handover Service ensures a smooth, neutral transfer of children between parents, removing the need for direct contact while prioritizing the child’s well-being.
Don't just take our word for it.
At Newport Family Centre, we understand how important it is to have a safe and supportive space for families. But don’t just take our word for it—here’s what families who have used our services have to say.

After months of difficult communication, the Supported Family Time service helped me and my daughter reconnect in a relaxed, judgment-free environment. It felt more natural than a fully supervised visit, and I could see my daughter opening up again.
- Samantha, Mum
I was hesitant about supervised visits at first, but the detailed reports helped in my court case, showing that I was engaged and committed to my children. I’m grateful for the centre’s help in making our reunions possible.

- Danny, Father

The handovers used to be a nightmare. My child would sense the tension, and it would make transitions difficult. Now, drop-offs and pick-ups happen smoothly, and my child always leaves and arrives with a smile.
